Is there a placfile around that has just interstates? Normally I don't use the roadsign placefile, but I recently needed to add them in. The placefile in the downloads section is far too cluttered for my needs. Just looking for the basic interstates. Does anyone have this or the ability to make it?
Thanks! David

Hello David,
All that you need to do is open the roadsign placefile text file with either notepad, wordpad, or Word. High lite the beginning of the placefile all the way through to the end of the Interstate sign section of the text file. Copy the high lited data or text. Open a new document ... paste the copied text or data. Save your new document with only the Interstate sign data with some new filename. Then use this new placefile text file in GRLeveX software. You should now only have Interstate signs. This can be done with any three of the sections of the road sign placefile. Interstates, US Highways, or State Highways. Just remember to include the upper part of the original road sign placefile text file (the section before the actual sign data starts). This would allow for just an Interstate road sign placefile, a US Highway road sign placefile, or a state highway road sign placefile. I hope this helps, Larry |

Thanks Larry,
I didn't realize the file was split up like that. I just saw a ton of text and didn't know what to do with it! Did what you said, worked great. Thanks!
